Darwin Kellicut, MSW, LCSW, LMFT, NBCCH


Darwin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, and Clinical Hypnotherapist with over 25 years of experience in family counseling and mental health treatment services. He grew up in Michigan, graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. degree in Psychology, spent 4 years in the Navy as a Psychiatric Technician, and thereafter graduated from Florida State University with an M.S.W. in Clinical Social Work, specializing in direct services to individuals, families, and groups. Darwin is also a National Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, having received training in traditional and Ericksonian hypnosis from William O'Hanlon, M.S. (who was directly trained by Milton Erickson), Stephen Lankton, Ph.D., Michael Yapko, Ph.D., and Diane Zimberoff, M.A.

Darwin has lived in Michigan, Maryland, Florida, California, and North Idaho (since 1978). He has toured much of the United States, and has visited the Caribbean, Western Canada, England, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and Belgium. Darwin has been married to Raquel since 1985. Darwin's recreational interests include: skiing, boating, canoeing, fishing, bicycling, trumpet playing, genealogy, and reading.



Raquel Kellicut, MA, LCPC, LMFT


Raquel is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Mental Health Counselor, and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, with over 25 years of counseling experience with individuals, couples, and families. She grew up in Tacoma, Washington, and graduated from Spokane's Gonzaga University with a B.A. in Psychology and Criminal Justice, and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology.

Raquel has an established reputation as an outstanding public speaker and teacher. She has taught at both the University of Idaho and Eastern Washington State University, where she was once an Adjunct Professor. Raquel has worked as a psychological tester for Daniel Hayes, Ph.D., Coeur d' Alene, Idaho's only neuropsychologist. She, psychiatrist Dr. Jeff Stevens, and Roberta Truscott of The Biofeedback Clinic, developed the Coeur d' Alene community's first clinic for the comprehensive treatment of Anxiety and Panic Disorders.

Of particular professional interest to Raquel, is her work with extramarital affair recovery, infertility, anxiety and panic disorders, and grief work with suicide survivors. Raquel is also passionate about mentoring children, is a "Big Sister," and has served as the Executive Director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Idaho.

She has lived in Washington State, and North Idaho (since 1985) after marrying Darwin. She has toured much of the United States, and visited the Caribbean, Canada, England, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and Belgium. Raquel's recreational interests include: music, travel, water sports, gardening, cooking, genealogy, and stock investing. She plays the piano and loves to sing!
